I was reading an interesting article in The Sunday Times about cravings. It said that a lot of people give in to their cravings assuming that it is due to a lack of nutrients. However, there is no scientific evidence to back this up. They thing that cravings are more likely caused by the fact that you are restricting your intake of a particular food and so your brain decides that it wants it because you are telling it that it can't.

That must be why I crave chocolate....should I eat it or not?
Good question!
There are good anti oxidants in chocolate and it contains magnesium. But it does contain a lot of fat as well. I would say everything in moderation is okay unless you need to lose weight.
