Target!!

I am now 10 stone 10.8 pounds so have reached my next target. I am so happy!! My new target is 10 stone 7 pounds.

I often wonder whether online diets are worthwhile. However. my Mother has recently tried one and found it to be successful. She lost a lot of weight while she was following it and found it to be well worth what she paid for it. She is a diabetic and she found that it suited her condition which was great. I am so happy - I am now 10 stone 11.2 pounds - hopefully I will reach my 10 stone 10 pound target tomorrow. I am feeling really achy and tired which I think is a result of having an infection. I will be taking it easy today and drinking a lot.

More Weight Loss!

I admit that I didn't have many calories yesterday but I just didn't feel that hungry. I weight just 10 stone 11.8 pounds this morning which is great. I am so thrilled that I have at last passed 10 stone 13 pounds which was really bugging me! I am now well on my way to my next target of 10 stone 10 pounds!

Weight Loss

My weight this morning was 10 stone 13.4 pounds. I am really happy as despite being unwell I was really hungry and ate quite a lot and have not been for a walk since Monday. I will keep working at it today, as it would be great if I could get down below 10 stone 13 - something which I have not achieved since being on this healthy eating plan.

Unwell

I have been feeling unwell over the last few days, after the boys being unwell at the weekend. I have therefore just been eating what I want rather than worrying about calories and healthy eating. Although I am still not feeling that well today, I am going to get back to more sensible eating. I did not weigh this morning so will start reporting weight again tomorrow.

I think if it was not for this blog, I would probably have just gone back to my old ways by now!

Calories in Avocado

I always knew they were high in calories. However, recently I read something that said half an avocado was 100 calories so I felt that having one quarter in a sandwich was fine. However, I have discovered today that the avocados that I eat are 200 calories per half and therefore the quarter I put in a sandwich is actually 100 calories.

Back to 11 stone

I was exactly 11 stone this morning. I was hoping that I would be less so that I have a better chance of maintaining my weight over the weekend. I will be at a Pig Roast on Saturday evening and am not sure what the vegetarian option will be. I will then be at my in-laws for breakfast, where I could just have a slice of toast or a small amount of cereal...but I tend to end up having too much food. I will then be at my sisters for lunch and evening meal on Sunday - she always cooks vegan food so the calories are fairly good but tends to use a lot of oil. Will be interesting to see what happens!

I lost half a pound

I am pleased that I now weight 11 stone 0.2 pounds so I lost almost half a pound yesterday. I did a bit of comfort eating in the evening after rushing my son to the doctors with a very high temperature. Fortunately he was fine and I didn't do too much damage with the cheese that I picked at. I will not be going out for a walk today as he isn't up to it, so I will have to try to fit in some other exercise.

Targets

I have been lax lately, using up the Father's Day leftovers and then at my Mums yesterday. I weighed this morning and was 11 stone 0.8 pounds. I feel like I have reached a plateau and keep just going under and back over. I will be out over the weekend too so will be working hard to get my weight down so I can hopefully still be below 11 stone on Monday morning.

Weight Loss

I was surprised that I had managed to lose some weight yesterday and weighed 10 stone 13.2 pounds this morning. However, being Fathers Day, I baked a cake, made pudding and roast dinner and didn't worry too much about what I was eating. I am going to freeze some of the left overs to try to reduce the temptations!

Calories - 13th June

I didn't keep an official record of calories today because I had left over pizza at lunch time and had no idea of the calories. Unfortunately this morning my weight was 11 stone 1.2 pounds due to the mad convert eating I have been doing. I think that I did okay today - I had my usual porridge breakfast 2 died apricots this morning, 1.5 slices pizza with some salad vegetables and a piece of buttered toast for lunch and this evening had stir fry veg (onion, courgette, yellow pepper, carrot and chick peas) with some pasta. I only had small portions and went for a walk so hopefully ahve not done too much damage.

Todays weight

I was worried this morning, as having spent a day in the kitchen I thought that I would be likely to pick at food and having no walk would not help either. However, I still managed to lose a very small amount of weight and I weighed 10 stone 13.4 pounds this morning. i am so pleased that I am still managing to lose a little weight each day.

I Lost a Pound

My idea seemed to work well. I ate almost 1200 calories and didn't overdo it with exercise. My blood sugar felt balanced but I still lost weight. I am very pleased with the result and we will see if it continues to work.

New Week, New Start!

I feel much better this morning after eating a lot of protein and complex carbohydrates yesterday. My weight is now 11 stone 2 pounds. I knew it would go up but I needed to get my blood sugar back up again as I had no energy and was feeling unwell. I will get back to eating better again today and counting calories but I think I need to very careful and maybe stick to 1200 and not go to low - to be sure that I do not have a crash again. I think it will be easier to maintain too. It will be worth experimenting for a few days anyway and see what happens.
