I weigh 9 stone 11.2 pounds this morning and my husband weighs 15 stone 6.8 pounds. I was initially a bit disappointed as I had hoped to lose more, but after thinking about it 1.2 pounds is pretty good! I will have to be good all this week to feel good for the party on Saturday. My husband was disappointed too but he did no exercise yesterday, got very little sleep and munched a few times!

Weight Gain Again
It was not a good day yesterday. My husbands weight is up to 15 stone 10 which was a massive shockk to him and mine was up to 9 stone 12.4. We walked a little bit but ate a lot of food. I was not feeling well, which is why I think I managed not to put that much weight on. I need to work hard this week with the Christmas party on Saturday. I want to be 9 stone 9 by then so I will have to work hard. Although I tried on my dress this morning and it looked good, but I have to remember that it is the evening so I am likely to have a more bloaty belly by then! I will have to watch what I eat on that day!

Weights
After being given a free lunch at work my husband went up to 15 stone 5.2 pounds. I didn't manage to exercise again because I was very busy all day. By the evening I was not feeling too well, but got up to date with my work so should be able to easily fit in exercise today. My weight went down to 9 stone 10.8 pounds which I was pleased with.
Acai Berry Supplements
Acai Berry Supplements seem to be the latest health food craze. They are a super food as they are high in antioxidants and very popular at the moment. Many people use them in order to help them with weight loss, which is probably due to the fact that they have been found to increase metabolism and and give you more energy. Having more energy means that you are more likely to exercise, which is something that I could do with at the moment! If you like taking this sort of supplement, then take a look at their website and you will be able to read in more detail about the health benefits that Acai berries have been found to contain, more details about the supplement forms available and even purchase the supplements should you decide that they are for you.

Weight News
My husband weighed 15 stone 4.6 this morning. He was really pleased. He seems to be trying extra hard after realising that his Mother weighs just a little less than him. She wants to be under 14.5 stone at Christmas so I think he wants to lose weight quicker too. Cnsidering he did no exercise he did well. He did have a cereal breakfast instead his usual cooked breakfast and no snacks after his evening meal so that helped.
I did eat a lot yesterday and despite the exercise machine my weight went up to 9 stone 12.4. I am still having trouble believing that I am under 10 stone and I don't think that is helping me. Now I have used up all the yummy leftovers from entertaining the other night it should be easier to eat better!
Diets
I used to think it was nonsense when people said you shouldn't diet but you should just eat healthily and exercise more. The reason for this was because I knew nothing about portion control and so I would eat lots of healthy foods with hidden calories (such as nuts, beans, melons and avocados) and just do some stretching exercises and wonder why I didn't lose weight. I now realise that what should be said is you should not do fad diets but eat small portions of healthy food making sure the diet is balanced and do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day. I find that even after dieting for years, I still need to weigh some foods and look up the calories as I am not sure what they are. By doing this and counting my daily calories, I can be sure that I am controlling my portions correctly and maintaining a healthy weight.

Today's Weight
We entertained last night and so we ate far too much food and very late at night, plus we had no time for exercising again. My husband did pretty well and is 15 stone 6.4. I went up a bit to 9 stone 12 pounds. I am determined to do some exercise today, I am not so busy and so have no excuse for it!
How I'll Lose Weight
Thanks to guest writer Lexiseek for his words of wisdom:
Losing weight is not easy. I have to admit, gaining the weight in the first place was a lot more fun. Now I've been looking at different alternatives to weight loss, as well as some free weight loss plans. I haven't decided exactly what to do yet, but I think I have a basic idea. When I was young I would follow a bodybuilding diet, which was very high in protein. I think I'll do that again while trying to add lean muscle mass and lower by body fat.
I plan on trying CLA for weight loss this time around. I'm not sure how effective it is, but many of the reports seem to hold promise. If that can help me cut my bodyfat percentage a bit, it will be worth the effort.
I definitely plan on using protein bars to lose weight this time. I'll use a protein bar as a meal replacement so I get more protein but fewer calories. In addition to a fat burner, and some serious time at the gym, I'm sure I'll lose some weight quickly.

Weight Update
My husband put on a bit of weight and is now 15 stone 6 pounds. My weight is 9 stone 12.6 pounds. I guess it shows that we really should be doing that extra bit of exercise but I am likely to be flat out with work today and then I am entertaining tonight so it is going to be very tricky to fit it in.
Medifast Diet
If you are looking for help with your weight lost then medifast could help. They help you to lose weight and also teach you how to keep it off, which is so important as all yo yo dieters know. It can be easy to get the enthusiasm to start a diet but to continue with it can be pretty tricky as once you reach your target weight it is tempting to go back to your old habits. Medifast provides you with all the meals you need, including shakes, so that you do not have to worry about buying food or cooking and so it makes it a very easy solution. There are even
medifast coupons available so that you can save some money if you decide to try it. This medifast diet could be a good way to kick start your healthy eating plan. If start losing a bit of weight it can really inspire you to continue with a healthy lifestyle.
Covering the cost of health problems
I am working hard to stay fit and healthy and as I have never been seriously ill, I have never really considered what might happen if I was. However, with my Mum and her heart problems and my extra responsibility, having children, I do wonder what might happen if either me or my husband was ill and could not work. I think I could carry on working through most illnesses, I didn't stop when I was in hospital having my twins, for example. My husband would be a much more serious matter. He is the main bread winner and my earnings would not even cover our food bill. We have talked about getting some sickness and redundancy insurance but it does seem like a lot of money to gamble each month. I have decided that because I am encouraging him to fitter and healthier then at the moment it is unlikely that he will be unwell and we should be fine. He also had good sickness pay with his company which would really help if it was necessary. He has a good family history with regards to illness as well which is really good. He is very lucky to be in a really secure job where redundancy is almost impossible so hopefully everything will be fine.

Mixed News
We were out for lunch yesterday, which was very healthy but I came home and ate loads! My husband was much more restrained. Despite neither of us exercising he managed to go back down to 15 stone 5.2 pounds which is fantastic. He is very pleased. Unsurprisingly my weight went up to 9 stone 12.4 pounds. I am still pretty happy and will get back to healthy eating today as well as starting exercising again as our colds are all better.

Yesterday's News
I didn't have time to keep a note of my food yesterday but was a little concerned as I seemed to be hungry all of the time so ate quite a bit. Fortunately my weight stayed the same at 9 stone 11.6 pounds but my husband put on weight and he is now 15 stone 7.2.

Great News
My Mum should be coming home from hospital today which means I have no excuses for comfort eating any more. Unfortunately i will not be able to visit her until all of the family are over their colds, but at least I will be able to chat to her on the phone.
My husband lost weight again and is now 15 stone 6.8 pounds which is almost the lowest he has been so if he works at it he should be well on target again this week. My weight went down to 9 stone 11.6 pounds which is a massive loss of 2.4 pounds. I guess being ill really took it out of me.

Small Weight Loss
My weight just went down a little bit today to exactly 10 stone. I was hoping I would be below but at least it is still moving down. I didn't do the toning exercises that I planned to do as I have a cold and felt a bit rotten. My husband is in bed with it today so he has not weighed. I am hoping that if I just feed him light meals packed full of vitamin C, he will feel better soon. I am feeling a bit guilty as I took the last of the decongestant tablets this morning! I will buy some on the way back from dropping the boys at play group. They have colds too but still want to go to play group.

Mixed Sucess
My husband went up to 15 stone 8 today. He was really cross with himself as he snacked a lot yesterday. I think being at home meant that he could more easily grab food. He has decided to make sure he gets back to exercising today. I also want to do more toning exercises as they really help sculpt my body shape which is nice - a vanity thing I know but if I am happy with how I look then I think I am more likely to want to keep my figure and to do that I will need to be fit and healthy. My weight is down to 10 stone 0.2 pounds so moving in the right direction.

Update
After a few days of stress and comfort eating my weight is 10 stone 1 pound. My Mum is very much better and so I am feeling like getting back to focusing on what I am eating again today. My husband is doing brilliantly and his weight is down to 15 stone 6.4 pounds, he was so pleased that he ate less breakfast this morning because he is inspired to lose even more! It is just 3 weeks until his work Christmas party. I am hoping that I can lose 8 pounds before then and it would be fantastic if he could be below 15 stone. We will have to see how things go, but it is not unrealistic.

Another Quick Report
My weight stayed the same yesterday at 9 stone 12.6 pounds, I walked around Bristol for about 5 hours but ate very badly including having a fishcake and chips as a last resort meal. My husband went up a bit at 15 stone 7.8 despite doing extra walking with the boys but was tempted by a Greggs pasty!

Weight Loss
After sticking to it yesterday my weight is down to 9 stone 13.4 which is a good start. My husband lost weight as well and is down to 15 stone 7.6 which is really good. He should be on track to get down to 15 stone by Christmas if he keeps this up.
Unwell
Unfortunately I was unwell yesterday. I had dizzy spells and felt sick and after eating breakfast realised it was my blood sugar. So I had to eat lots yesterday to keep my blood sugar up. I tried to be sensible, but obviously was not as when I weighed this morning i was 10 stone and 0.6 pounds. I am upset that I have managed to put on so much weight and I am hoping some of it is due to being that time of the month. I am trying to be sensible for the next few days as I know the end of the week will be messed up by me being in Bristol as my Mum is having her heart surgery. I am hoping I can stop the comfort eating and focus on being healthy.
My husband is still doing brilliantly. He was 15 stone 8 pounds this morning and is really looking a lot trimmer. I hope some people start to notice and compliment him soon, as although I am doing so, I know it is not the same coming from me.

Not Good!
I have not had a good few days. I am not sure what happened really but I just lost all motivation to be good with my eating and I didn't do much exercise. I am hoping that as I will be home all day today, I will have no excuse for not exercising and I am going to ask my husband to do his best to keep me on track with it and my eating. He has not been that good either but weighed in at 15 stone 9.2 this morning which was pretty good really. My weight was 9 stone 12.8.

Even More Weight Gain
My weight has gone up even more today to 9 stone 12 pounds. I know I ate quite a bit yesterday but I feel like things are getting out of control with my weight just going up and up and me feeling disheartened and wanting to give up trying. It could be PMT but I must not use it as an excuse and I must try to stay on track today and really focus. My husband put on weight as well, but he had a late night three course meal last night so it wasn't surprising.

My weight stayed the same at 9 stone 10.8 pounds, which I am happy with and think it was due to eating too many nuts in the evening (probably more than I thought, so more calories than I judged) and also not doing much exercise - only a slow walk and half the time on teh exercise machine. Now I have my new notebook up and running and have caught up with my work I have no excuses apart from having to stay in today for a delivery. It is no reason not to do lots of exercise machine work! My husband lost 0.2 pounds which considering he ate 2 bags of crisps, biscuits and did no exercise is pretty amazing. His weight is now 15 stone 9.4 pounds.

Even More Weight Loss
I think with our hectic day yesterday we didn't get time to eat very much! My weight is now 9 stone 10.8 and my husband is 15 stone 9.6. He is really pleased as he has been trying to get below 15 stone 10 for a while now and he has passed that barrier at last. He is starting to really want to lose a bit of weight each day, which is really great.

Quick Update
I had a disaster of a day with my computer breaking and my son cutting his head open in the computer shop, so a trip to A&E and no computer later it was not good! My son is fine, but I think he will be very cross when he learns he cannot go to play group tomorrow! I did managed to eat fairly well but had no time to note down what I ate. Hopefully I will get a new computer tomorrow and things will start to get back to normal if we can recover the data from the old machine.... please wish me (and my husband who is doing the work) good luck!
Weight Loss Again
Well after bakewell tart, birthday cake, roast potatoes, lots of cashew nuts and no exercise I expected to have put on weight but actually managed to lose a little bit at 9 stone 11.4 pounds. My husband also lost weight at 15 stone 10.4 pounds. He did eat less than me though as the healthy vegan food did not appeal to him and he didn't have any cake (but did manage a KitKat chunky!)
We will be exercising quite a bit today as we will be home most of the time so have no excuses!

Weight Loss for All!
Well my weight is down to 9 stone 11.6 which is fantastic! My husband also lost weight and is 15 stone 10.6. We are both really pleased. We are out for the day today. The food will be vegan so should be pretty healthy as long as we avoid the things that are higher in fat. It is unlikely that we will exercise, as we will spend a lot of time sitting in the car which always seems to make us tired.
