I have been really enjoying including exercise into my new healthy lifestyle. I don't think it is to do with the actual effort of getting on my trainers and cycling or running on my exercise machine. I do not seem to get that endorphine buzz that people talk about. What I get out of it is a self satisfaction that I have done some exercise and therefore got fit and also that my leg and bottom are in the best shape they have ever been in, which is fantastic!
I have been finding, on some days that my legs really ache when I am walking. I am not sure whether that is just due to the amount of walking that I do, although I am sure that if I got a pedometer I would find that it was not as much as I thought. I am wondering whether my muscles need some help and I am not sure whether they are just dehydrated or need protein or whether I need some more iron to give me energy.
I do not really know enough about sport and nutrition to know the answer but I think I will start by trying to increase my iron levels and see whether that helps. If not then I will try something else.
