I did not eat particularly well yesterday - I ate healthily (well fairly!) but ate rather a lot of food. Despite that, my weight was 9 stone 7.6 pounds. I did no exercise though and I really need to start doing more. I have at least done some walking today, which is good and need to find time to some exercise machine work as well. I really should start doing some toning on my arms as I think they need to look a bit better once I start wearing short sleeves in the summer - I have a Christening in May and a wedding in the summer to go to and it would be nice to be toned enough, not to worry about what sleeves the dress I get has. I think I might buy some slow build up fake tan lotion as well to put on my arms and legs so I feel happier about how those look - I hate them looking white but I know that sun bathing is dangerous so fake is the only way!
My husband had a break through at work yesterday. His small team at work were discussing how they always had such unhealthy snacks as people were so often bringing in cakes and biscuits and sweets. They seem to have them every day and it is tempting for them to overeat. I have been telling my husband to take in something healthier when he takes treats in and so after that discussion, he felt able to take in a basket of fruit to share today. It was great that he reported back that the team thought it was fantastic idea and they are going to keep the basket there and take in turns in refilling it, or put in the fruit that is sometimes left over from meetings. Despite eating loads of chocolate chip cookies yesterday as well as chocolates and other treats, he managed to lose some weight and was 14 stone 11.6 pounds so back on track to reach his 14 stone 9 target by Monday.
