Celebrity Diets

There is a very interesting story on the BBC website this morning about celebrity diets. It explains how copying a celebrity by wanting to look slim like them and following a diet that tehy are on, is not a new phenomenon.

Although this is a good way to get inspiration for losing weight, it can be a bad thing. Some people are naturally thing and some people have time to exercise a lot. Other people spend a lot of money on diets or they eat unhealthily to be thin. When you career depends on it, you will do anything to remain slim.

It is important for us to remember that health is the important thing when looking at our diet and how we look should always be a positive side effect. If looking good motivates us, then this is okay, but we need to make sure that we have a sensible diet, getting all the nutrients that we need, so that we do not make ourselves unwell.
